A new patch for Overwatch is now live on Xbox One and PS4. Unsurprisingly, it does not contain Doomfist, the newest melee-based hero who launched last week on the Public Test Realm. Instead, there are a few bug fixes that players can look forward to.

For instance, a bug that caused a few players to lose audio during matches has been fixed. Furthermore, the sound effects of the menu screen from Horizon Lunar Colony’s gravity-less space section persisting when switching to a new menu area have also been fixed.

A bug that prevented Pharah’s voiceline “I am the rocket queen” from playing properly and Orisa’s ultimate charging once Supercharger was already deployed have also been fixed.

It seems that Doomfist could potentially arrive next month when Summer Games is rumoured to return. What are your thoughts on the new console patch? Let us know in the comments below.
