Overwatch Players Receive 5 Free Winter Loot Boxes

Log in by January 2nd to redeem them.

In the spirit of the festive season, Blizzard Entertainment has sent all Overwatch players five free Winter Wonderland loot boxes. They may or may not contain the sprays and player icons you’re looking for. Since these loot boxes are in accordance with the Winter Wonderland event, you have until January 2nd 2017 – the day the event ends – to log in and collect them.

With the recent Winter Wonderland event, Blizzard added new sprays, player icons, emotes and hero skins for players to unlock. Like Halloween Terror, these skins can be unlocked with in-game currency while the event is on-going. You can also rely on the loot boxes gathered from leveling up or purchase loot boxes for real money.

Remember to earn as many loot boxes as possible from playing the game before making real purchases – you never know when that Tracer Elf skin or Zarya gift emote may drop.

What are your thoughts on Blizzard’s hospitality? Let us know in the comments below.
