Overwatch has finally received Eichenwalde, albeit in its public test realm (PTR). If you’ve downloaded the PTR version of the game on PC, then you’ll be able to try out the new map today. For those who don’t, simply head to the “Region” category in the Battle.net launcher and select “PTR: Overwatch” to download it.
Eichenwalde is set near a castle in Germany and is built for Hybrid/Assault match variants. A new Weekly Brawl will be offered where players can play the new map specifically.
If that weren’t enough, Reinhardt’s new Legendary skins – Balderich and Greifhardt – are also available to obtain. They admittedly look awesome and we hope you’ve saved up enough currency to acquire the same.
The PTR is currently playing around with Competitive Play season 2 and the changes to rewards, the removal of Sudden Death, the introduction of draws and increased Competitive Point dispersal. What are your thoughts on Eichenwalde if you haven’t tried it already? Let us know in the comments.
