Along with a new map, changes to popular heroes like McCree, Reaper and Roadhog, the latest Public Test Realm update for Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch brought a serious issue. This was memory leak as PC players reported the game utilizing abnormally high amounts of RAM the longer it was open.

Blizzard’s Bill Warnecke replied on the official forums about the same and said that, Hey there, we’re looking into this. Additionally we’ve updated the known issues list to include this one. Thanks for the report!”

Warnecke later updated his post to note that, “We’ve released a PTR update which addresses this issue, thanks!”

If you’re on PC and haven’t partaken in the PTR due to these issues, then you’ll be happy to hear they’re resolved. If you hate your teammates, hate the world and pretty much want to be free of this curse, then you’re probably out of luck.
