Blizzard Entertainment has had a whale of a time trying to balance and fix issues with Doomfist, Overwatch’s last major DPS hero. After adjusting his hitbox to not be completely absurd, Doomfist’s usability has dropped considerably. Of course, players have also noted several bigger issues with the man and principal designer Geoff Goodman has come back with some good news.

Goodman revealed that the Public Test Realm had been updated with several fixes to Doomfist including improve wall slamming; Rocket Punch actually breaking through destructible parts of the environment; Seismic Slam cancelled if you landed too close to a wall; and a “slide” to Seismic Slam that would trigger when the player was moving up ramps.

Of course, there are a number of other issues that Blizzard is working on along with things that continue to be investigated. Still, the fact that major strides are being made is good news. Now if only Blizzard could do something to make Mei more usable.
