Overwatch Storm Rising

Archives has arrived once again to Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch with Storm Rising, and you know what that means. There’s a new PvE mission set in a new map, Havana, and new cosmetics to earn. Check out the latest developer update below to see director Jeff Kaplan discuss the mission and its mechanics.

Storm Rising sees Winston, Tracer, Genji, and Mercy traveling to Havana to confront Maximilien, a powerful Talon official. The experience itself consists of fighting different Talon foes and eventually escorting a payload of explosives to the Havana Sea Fort. It’s relatively short, but offers some neat new lore for players’ troubles.

Along with new cosmetics and Legendary skins for characters like Bastion, Soldier 76, Moira, and Ashe, previous Archives events are also active. So you can back into Retribution and play as Blackwatch on Rialto or go into Uprising to battle Omnics on King’s Row. Previous event skins are also available- and at a discounted price.
