Overwatch Summer Games 2018

Blizzard Entertainment’s latest seasonal event for Overwatch, Summer Games 2018, is now live. The event offers new limited-time skins to unlock along with a new arena for Lucioball. Check out the trailer below.

There are no Summer Olympics happening, which the first Summer Games event was created to celebrate. Regardless, plenty of sports and beachwear skins are present for several characters, including Waveracer D.Va, Gridironhardt Reinhardt, Catcher Winston, and Cabana Ana. New voice lines, sprays and much more also abound. Though these are available to purchase in loot boxes, they can also be purchased with Credits (though with increased cost as compared to normal cosmetics).

As for Lucioball, a new arena has been added in the form of Busan, South Korea. Not much else has changed about the mode – teams consist of three Lucios as they attempt to hit an oversized ball into goals. Competitive Lucioball also returns, so it’s a good way to net some Competitive Points towards that next Golden Gun.
