Overwatch Wasted Land Comic Released – When Junkrat Met Roadhog

The two Junkers seem like a match made in heaven (or hell).

Blizzard’s next comic for Overwatch was teased recently and now the full-fledged issue, dubbed “Wasted Land”, is available for reading. Head here to see for yourself.

Wasted Land is set in and around Junkertown with Roadhog talking about the apocalypse, how it changed Australia and how he’s dealing with the chaos. It also showcases how he meets Junkrat, bailing the latter out of a barroom brawl and agreeing to be his partner (of sorts).

For fans of the series, Wasted Land offers a much needed look at the Junkers, how life in Junkertown functions and just what’s going on through Roadhog’s head. If nothing else, we can sort of understand why Roadhog would choose to hang around the talkative Junkrat.

Meanwhile, Junkertown the map is still only playable through Overwatch’s Public Test Realm on PC. It’s an Escort map that takes players on a tour from the outside of the city to the Queen’s throne room.
