As expected, Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch will see the return of the Winter Wonderland event on December 12th. In a new developer update, director Jeff Kaplan highlighted some of the things we’d seeing in the new event.

First off, it seems there will be a new Brawl called Mei’s Yeti Hunt. It consists of a team of Meis against one Winston player on the Nepal Village map in what’s essentially an asymmetrical multiplayer experience. The Mei team is trying to capture Winston using a special ice trap skill along with her current kit while Winston can find meat power ups to activate Primal Rage. Interestingly players will be cycled between the roles of Mei and Winston if they stay in the same lobby long enough.

Mei’s Snowball Offensive will also be returning and it will be taking place on Black Forest and Ecopoint Antarctica. Christmas versions of Hanamura and King’s Row will also be returning. As for skins, players can expect a new Hanzo skin and new skins for Roadhog and Junkrat.
