Blizzard Entertainment’s latest even for Overwatch, Year of the Rooster, is finally live. Celebrating the Lunar New Year in Chinese culture, the event adds new skins, sprays, emotes, victory poses and whatnot to the base game. Check out the trailer below.

You can obtain all these new cosmetics via Lunar Loot Boxes that will be available from January 24th till February 13th which is when the event ends. There are over 100 cosmetic items to collect with some characters receiving new Epic skins (like Tracer, Symmetra and Mercy) while others gets new Legendary skins (Mei, D.Va, Reinhardt, Winston, Roadhog, Zenyatta and even Ana).

If you have terrible luck with loot box RNG but enough in-game currency then it’s possible to buy the new cosmetics directly though they’ll cost a lot more than the average skin.

Year of the Rooster also adds (among other things) an Emote Wheel, balance changes for certain heroes and a new Capture the Flag mode dubbed “Capture the Rooster”.
