Blizzard Entertainment released a new preview for Overwatch’s latest hero Doomfist and you won’t have to wait long to get your hands on him. Having been in the Public Test Region for a few weeks now, the developer has confirmed that Doomfist will be out for live servers on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on July 27th.

The hero preview takes a look at Doomfist’s creation, his role in the overall story and why he’s so special. Doomfist as a hero is fairly different from everyone, especially other Attack heroes. He’s mostly close range with a charging fist that causes additional damage if his target is knocked into a wall.

His Rising Uppercut knocks foes into the air while Seismic Slam causes an area of effect attack that can pull foes towards. Then there’s his Meteor Strike which sees Doomfist leaping high into the air and crashing down into an area of heroes. In addition to this, he possesses a shotgun fist in his other arm for some ranged attacks.

If you tried Doomfist on the PTR, what are your thoughts on him thus far? Let us know in the comments below.
