Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch has seen a large new update release today for all platforms but the Public Test Region server has also been updated with a new map. It’s Junkertown, Australia, the map that was unveiled at Gamescom and which serves as the home turf for Junkrat and Roadhog. The Escort map can be played now for those who own the PC version and download the PTR separately through the Battle.net launcher.

Junkertown is a map full of Omnic remains, which the scavengers have used to their advantage. They’re led by the mysterious Queen who exudes a real Mad Max vibe though she’s never actually seen. It has an arena called the Scrapyard where gladiatorial battles take place, which makes us think that a special mode for the same will be coming in the future.

It will be some time before Junkertown is made available on PC, Xbox One and PS4. For now, PC players can try it out along with changes made to heroes like D.Va and Mercy, the latter of which has had her Ultimate completely reworked.
