Overwatch’s Orisa Now Available in Competitive Play

New PC patch also released.

Posted By | On 29th, Mar. 2017

Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch added a new hero last week with Orisa. The robot tank has become fairly popular thanks to her utility and range. However, she was excluded from Competitive Play to allow players to learn her mechanics.

This was only for a week though. As per the official Overwatch Twitter, Orisa is now available for Competitive Play. Given how the meta has shifted over the past few weeks (with more changes coming for heroes like Lucio), it should be interesting to see how Orisa fits in.

The PC version of Overwatch has also received a new update that prevents Orisa from deploying Supercharge inside of the payload. Her movement is also slowed a bit when firing in midair. Sombra’s “Boop” voice line should also play normally now.

What are your thoughts on Orisa and how will she fit into Competitive Play? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
