Overwatch’s Uprising Event Has Finally Concluded

For real, this time.

Posted By | On 03rd, May. 2017

After a kerfuffle that saw the event end early and then return for an additional 24 hours, Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch has finally seen the conclusion of its Uprising event. Maintenance is currently on-going and should be wrapped by the time you read this.

Uprising was arguably one of the best events that Overwatch has seen, introducing a new PvE objective mode that took players back 7 years to the events of the King’s Row Uprising.

While the story version allowed players to experience new banter between Tracer, Reinhardt, Torbjorn and Mercy, there was also an all-heroes mode where any character could be chosen. New cosmetics like voice lines, sprays, skins, emotes, highlight intros and victory poses could also be earned from Uprising loot boxes.

What are your thoughts on the event now that it’s finally over? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more updates on Overwatch in the coming weeks.
