Overwatch’s Year of the Rooster Event Ends Today

Maintenance coming at 5 AM PST.

Posted By | On 14th, Feb. 2017

Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch will see its Year of the Rooster event concluding today (though depending on time zone, it will most likely be February 13th for the majority of you). If you still want to obtain Lunar New Year-themed Loot Boxes for exclusive cosmetics, now is the time.

The game will be undergoing maintenance at 5 AM PST today till 7 AM PST, which is presumably when the event will be over. We wouldn’t expect any sudden changes (like the recent Bastion buffs on PTR or the Server Browser) to go live but it wouldn’t surprise us given Blizzard’s frequency of updates lately.

What will the next Overwatch event be? It’s apparently not Valentine’s Day or April Fool’s so perish that thought. More surprises are apparently on the way so stay tuned for more information and let us know what you think of the Year of the Rooster event in the comments below.
