Pac-Man World Re-Pac

During the recent Nintendo Direct, Bandai Namco unveiled Pac-Man World Re-PAC—a remastered version of a classic Pac-Man game from the 2000’s. Pac-Man World Re-PAC will be coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on August 26. Check out the trailer below.

Pac-Man World Re-PAC will be making use of the hardware capabilities of modern systems to remaster the classic 3D platformer. The game will feature multiple game modes, including Quest Mode, a Maze Mode that aims to bring classic Pac-Man gameplay to 3D mazes, and the Original Mode that can be unlocked by playing through the game.

Pac-Man World Re-PAC‘s Quest Mode will feature a fully-remastered realisation of Ghost Island from the original game. Players will be able to use a variety of attacks, abilities, and powerups as they run, jump, and solve puzzles throughout the game. The story involves rescuing Pac-Man’s family: Pac-Mom, Pac-Boy, Pac-Sis, Professor Pac, Pac-Buddy, and Pooka.
