Bandai Namco has released the opening cinematic for its upcoming game Pac-Man World Re-PAC. Check out the opening cinematic for the upcoming remake below.
Much like the original PlayStation game, Pac-Man World Re-PAC‘s opening cinematic shows off the bright and colourful setting of the game, Pac-Man’s family, the nefarious ghosts, and sets up the general story for the game.
Bandai Namco had recently released a trailer to show off the difference in graphical fidelity between the upcoming remake and the original PSOne release. The trailer showed off a stark difference in graphics, showing off Area 1 and Area 2 of the game for the comparison.
In July, Pac-Man World Re-PAC got a gameplay trailer showing off several of its levels. New gameplay details revealed included improvements to the game’s UI and the addition of new movement abilities.
Pac-Man World Re-PAC is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on August 26.
