The recent announcement of Pac-Man World Re-PAC was an amazingly pleasant surprise. No one would have expected that Bandai Namco would ever even consider remaking the classic 3D Pac-Man platformer, but that’s exactly what they’re doing, and for good reason, there’s plenty of people looking forward to it. If you’re in that group, there’s some new gameplay footage for you to check out.
The gameplay footage was livestreamed by Bandai Namco at the recent Anime Expo (where they also showed off new gameplay for One Piece Odyssey), and shows off several of the game’s levels. New gameplay details have also been revealed, detailing improvements made to the game’s UI, the addition of a few new movement abilities, additional polishing work done to improve some issues with the original game, and more. Pac-Man World Re-PAC will launch on August 26 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
