Instead of whispering to other players for currency, you can now directly place an order, and Faustus will facilitate the same.

Grinding Gear Games’ Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur is already pushing significant new features and content for free with town-building, trade routes and resource gathering. However, it’s also adding a feature fans have requested for years – an in-game market for trading and buying currency.

According to the expansion’s page, by visiting Faustus from Heist, players can purchase and sell currency alongside “most other” stackable items from other players. There’s no longer a need to send an invite, wait for a reply, visit (or invite) the other player, and initiate the trade. Specify the currency and what you’re willing to trade, and Faustus will make it happen.

Of course, one alleged reason for no in-game market or Auction House was to avoid making the gearing process too easy. Images of the Currency Trade Market indicate that Gold will facilitate trade. How much will be required and how quickly players can farm it remains to be seen, so stay tuned.

Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur launches on July 26th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details en route to release.
