Path of Exile The Awakening

Grinding Gear Games’ Path of Exile will be receiving a very significant update on July 10th with The Awakening. The free to play, action RPG title – which is similar in play to Diablo but often preferred – will receive tons of new items, new abilities and of course, the new Act IV to delve into the world of PoE.

It’s also worth noting that The Awakening will offer some awesome new features like a Passive Skill slots. These allow you to fit different gems directly into your Passive Skill tree for different buffs to neighbouring gems. Grinding Gear Games also promises lots of new Exotic items (which can all be earned through playing and don’t have to be purchased separately), the gameplay for which you can see in the trailer below. There will also be two new Challenge Leagues to allow players some intriguing little obstacles in their playthroughs.
