Path of Exile

Grinding Gear Games is preparing to unveil the next big endgame expansion for its free-to-play action RPG Path of Exile on January 27th at 11 AM PST via Twitch. Siege of the Atlas will seemingly feature a new boss and a revamp of the current maps system. However, a new Challenge League is also launching alongside the same.

In a new teaser, the developer confirmed that the League is called Archnemesis. A multi-armed statue wearing a horned skull mask is shown so your guess is as good as ours as to the new League mechanic. Expect more details on the same along with new rewards in next week’s stream.

Path of Exile: Siege of the Atlas goes live on February 4th (PST) for PC and February 9th for consoles. The last major League was Scourge, which will not be added to the core game when the new expansion goes live. It may return sometime in the future though.
