Payday 3’s first free content update has been announced, adding reimagined versions of two Legacy Heists – Cook Off (featuring the return of Locke) and Murky Station, both from Payday 2. It also adds new first-person animations for interactions and a new Skill Line, “Transporter,” which allows for carrying two bags instead of one.

Other features include two new tracks by composer Gustavo Coutinho, the Compact7 Lycan preset weapon, gun inspection animations and a new mask, “Under Wraps. Also, as heavily requested by the community, Infamy Payouts can be earned from heist payouts, though it won’t be a lot. The team is also working on a better presentation system for the Challenges for improved tracking (and even recommendations on what to do next).

There will also be improvements to optimization, quality of life and balance changes, and over 200 bug fixes. Stay tuned for patch notes and a proper release date in the coming days. Payday 3 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our review here.
