Mass Effect 3 was one of the few games announced for the Wii U during Nintendo’s horrible E3 media briefing, and EA thinks that people considered that as the best piece of software announced for the system during the show. Not Mario, not a new Pikmin– no, a game that, while extremely good, has already been released on other systems months back.
“We looked at the Wii U launch line-up yesterday and we’re very pleased there was a lot of applause for ME3,” said Electronic Arts chief executive John Riccitiello at a financial briefing today.
“In fact,” he continued, “I think it got one of the loudest applauses, so we’re pleased that people see it as the single best piece of software that’s been announced for the platform.”
He also announced that EA has “a number of sports games we’re going to have on the platform that we haven’t announced yet.”
