Persona 4: Golden Video Shows Off Simultaneous (and Sparkly) Attacks

The critically acclaimed PS Vita lets you double-team groups of enemies.

Persona 4: Golden may not have seen a very wide release on this side of Asia, but it’s a very critically acclaimed and just plain fun JRPG that encompasses the essence of what makes the series great – but for Playstation Vita, releasing on November 20th. This new gameplay video shows off double-team attacks that you can pull off in the game.

Persona 4: Golden contains dozens of hours of story, gameplay, customization and, of all things, demon collection. The game allows players to form “Social Links” with the colourful cast which increases their effectiveness in battle besides leading to awkward conversations down the hall after school. Ah, teenage exuberance in a non-Hentai game.

The PS Vita version of the game takes advantage of the Vita’s impressive screen but that’s not the only new addition: there’s 1.5 times the amount of voiced dialogue and a new online dungeon rescue system which lets players call for assistance from players when they’re about to die in the TV world. There are also new Personas to collect, an all-new character, new cut-scenes, new story evenets and plenty of tweaks and changes to the overall gameplay.
