Along with announcing Persona 5 for the PlayStation 3 in Winter 2014, Atlus also revealed a sequel to the Persona 4 Arena. Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold will see our favourite characters – and a few new ones – return to do battle among bright lights and even brighter special attacks. Check out the new animated trailer Atlus has released to get into the mood for the game, in which we see the cast just going about and fighting.

The trailer also reveals two of the newer characters – Junpei and Yukari, the latter who hints at the Dark Hour returning. For those who haven’t played Persona 3, the Dark Hour was a time at night in which a mysterious tower called Tartarus would emerge and where players could battle the Shadows. How will that affect the gameplay in Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold and how will it differ from before, is the question.

Look out for the sequel to release in Japanese arcades soon with a PS3 release due in Summer 2014.
