As we’ve already discussed, the social sim-cum-role playing formula which was pioneered in Persona 3 and improved upon in its sequel is going to be, once again, the star of the show in Persona 5, and hopefully, it’s also going to be the perfect realization of that formula. This structure has been almost entirely responsible for the meteoric rise in Persona’s success and popularity, so it makes perfect sense that Atlus do not want to mess with it and change it up too much. And while we love this formula, there are certain improvements that need to be made- hopefully, Atlus have done that with Persona 5.
