After a series of teasers, Atlus has finally confirmed Persona 5 and revealed that it will be releasing exclusively for the PlayStation 3. A teaser trailer for the game has been unveiled during the live-stream event hosted this weekend. Check it out above in all its cryptic, stylish beauty.

Nothing is known about the game currently though it is expected to follow-up on the highly successful Person 3 and Persona 4 series, which focused on schoolkids tackling paranormal activities with the help of Evokers and their Persona. Some important staff members who will be returning for the project include director Katsura Hashino, character designer Shigenori Soejima and composer Shoji Meguro.

Persona 5 will be releasing this Winter for Japan, and it’s expected that a Western release will be confirmed in the coming months. Check out the Japanese website for the game or just rewatch the teaser again to get further hyped. Stay tuned for more details.
