Persona 5

While the Persona series is no stranger to enhanced re-releases and remakes, it seems Persona 5 Royal is taking it to a whole other level with its reworking of the base game. We’ve already seen quite a lot of new content and reworked material, but a new trailer puts it all into perspective.

The trailer, titled PV02, shows a lot of footage both in-game as well as cinematics. It’s also totally in Japanese, but if you are familiar with the original game its not too hard to follow. We get to see some of the new content, such as a big focus on the new playable character, Kasumi. Those who played through the original will also see some other events aren’t quite the same, and it seems like there will be an unlikely (though if you know anything about the Japanese reaction to the game, not that unlikely) return. Take a look below (via Persona Central).

Persona 5 Royal will release October 31st in Japan, with a western release slated for 2020. In the meantime, you can check out a massive amount of screenshots from the game through here.
