While us poor saps in the western world have to wait until 2020 for the enhanced version of Persona 5, the game is speeding toward release in Japan. The game promises lots of new additions, including a new character with a sweet tooth, but it hasn’t forgotten the old guard. In a new trailer highlighting one of the game’s original cast, Ryuji Sakamoto, we get to see a few new tricks.

The video below shows some new interactions the main character can have with Ryuji, then segues into a new combination attack he has in Royal with fellow Phantom Thief, Yusuke. Not only that, we get a look at a third Persona Evolution for Ryuji that he calls William. Check it out below.

Persona 5 Royal will release in Japan on October 31st for PlayStation 4. A western release is planned for some time in 2020. You can get a look at some of the bigger changes the re-release has in store here.
