Persona 5

Persona 5 Royal came out in Japan, and it’s already done well. It’s now the most successful enhanced remake in the series going by the impressive Japanese sales figures (which makes sense considering the vanilla release of Persona 5 was the most successful title in the franchise to this point). But the ride isn’t over by any means, as there DLC coming, and today we got a look at that.

We’ve known that Royal would get some degree of crossover with previous titles, and now we know that includes Costumes and BGM Special sets from the cute Persona Q series, and crossover challenge battles with the protagonists of Persona 3 and 4, which you can access in the Velvet Room. Which will be sold as a separate DLC that you can purchase. You can see the trailers for all three below.

Persona 5 Royal will release outside Japan some time in 2020 exclusively for PlayStation 4. There’s also the wild spinoff, Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, that you can read more about through here.
