Persona 5 Royal is getting a lot of marketing now, as the game is ramping up to come out later in the year in Japan (those in the west will have to wait a bit longer). A lot of the focus has, naturally, been on the new material the enhanced re-release will feature. We’ve seen a decent amount from the new party member, Kasumi, as well as a new non-playable confidant Takuto Maruki. But it’s not just new characters that get some fresh content. It’s also some from the original game, as the video from today shows, with a new event featuring Justine and Caroline.

The twins were in the original base release of Persona 5 and were a social link. Their story mainly played out in the Velvet Room, but it seems in Royal they are stepping out. You can see in the video below that they’re at Big Bang Burger, one of the locations in the game, and you will apparently be able to do their social link at a variety of other places so you won’t have to be in your cramped cell to speak to them (thanks to Wccftech for the translation).

Persona 5 Royal releases October 31st on PlayStation 4 in Japan, with a 2020 release worldwide following afterward.
