While Persona 5 Royal apparently didn’t quite sell to expectations, Persona 5 is still the best selling entry in the series, which means it’s ripe for spin offs. The latest, and most exciting in my book, is Persona 5 Scramble. The game is a mixture of Persona 5 and musou gameplay. You can see the overview trailer of the game through here. But you don’t just have to watch and read about it- you can now play some of it as well.

A demo of the game is now live. The demo is a pretty lengthy one, where you can play almost the entire first hour. Unfortunately, you can only play as Joker, but in the final release you’ll be able to play as all the Phantom Thieves. The demo is only available in Japan, so you’ll need to access the Japanese eShop or PSN and power through it if you can’t read the language.

Persona 5 Scramble is due out this month for both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan, but has no western date as of now. For a look at the challenge you can have with the game, take a peek through here.
