The newest spot for Persona 5, the long anticipated fifth entry in Atlus’ popular RPG series, is almost here – at least if you live in Japan – and Atlus have been taking their marketing for the game up a notch. We’ve been getting new videos routinely, generally focusing on one of the many characters comprising the cast of the game, and today, we get the newest one of those.

This new video introduces us to Ryuji, who looks to be your token best friend character in Persona 5, in the vein of Junpei or Yosuke from Persona 3 and 4 respectively. Of course, Ryuji has more of an edge than either of those, and some darkness to his character, but we don’t get to see much of that in this ad- this ad just shows us the dynamic he shares with the main character of Persona 5.

Persona 5 is due out on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on September 15 in Japan, and on February 14 in Europe and North America.
