2K Sports has announced that John Cena of WWE and Fast and Furious fame will join PGA Tour 2K23 on April 7th. Cena will be a playable character and joins the likes of NBA legend Michael Jordan and NBA player Steph Curry.
PGA Tour 2K23 was released in October 2022 for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Xbox One and received an average critical reaction (check out our review for more details). Nevertheless, it’s still getting more content. As VGC reports, pro golfer Nelly Korda will be playable. New courses like Spyglass Hill and Pinehurst No 2 are also being added along with Eastside Golf gear.
It’s worth noting that Cena’s arrival in PGA Tour 2K23 coincides with the release of EA Sports PGA Tour. The latter was delayed from March 24th and is the first title in the franchise since Rory McIlroy PGA Tour in 2015. Stay tuned for more details on it in the coming week.
