The five Long Pillars in Phantom Blade Zero serve as difficult combat challenges which reward you with endgame accessory loot as well as the tempering materials you will need to advance your weaponry. Their completion is also an absolute requirement for achieving the best ending of the game.
This guide for Phantom Blade Zero is all about how to find each of the five Long Pillars as well as what rewards you can expect to unlock.

This questline is tied to the discovery of the first Long Pillar, and completing it puts you in the path of unlocking the perfect or true ending.
Weeping Creek Valley Long Pillar
The first of the Long Pillars is locked in the east of this region, and you will need to complete an optional quest titled ‘Deep in the Valley’ in order to acquire the Sha-Chi Tower Base Camp Gate Key. Once in the unlocked area, you will eventually acquire the Rusted Loong Key which can be used further east to reach the Long Pillar.

Increases damage dealt to enemies by 20% for 2 seconds after a Parry.

Rewards the Miraculous Scabbard, a Defensive Accessory.
Switching main weapons grants Super Armor and 25% damage reduction for 2 seconds.
Meigu Lake Midlake Long Pillar

Rewards The Quenched Flaming Grip, a Weapon Soul Tempering Material.
Collect every fragment to restore the Flaming Grip, used to Soul Temper the Sanguine Reach.
Meigu Lake Four Guardians’ Mirror Long Pillar
While technically accessible from the far west of Meigu Lake, the Long Pillar itself is in the mirror realm of the Four Guardians. Begin by collecting the four Acolyte Masks and returning them to the large mirror here, in order to gain access to the Four Guardians’ Mirror realm or Phantom Illusionist Ruins. Once inside, continue till you arrive at the bell with a barrier that you can smash through with the axe. Past this is the Long Pillar of the Mirror realm.
Rewards the Chaos Iron Fragment, a Weapon Soul Tempering Material.
Collect every fragment to restore the Chaos Twin Daggers, used to Soul Temper the Sanguine Twin.
Pangzhen Mirage Estate Long Pillar
The final Long Pillar is inside this massive Estate, at its western edge or the dead center of the region itself. Gain entry to the estate via the Green Serpent House. Once at the Covered Corridor Bell, head onwards and to the right. Look down for a grapple point for your Hunter’s Chain Sickle, and then proceed to the last Long Pillar once on the far side.
Rewards the Bastion of Mo Mask, Weapon Soul Tempering Material.
Used to Soul Temper Sanguine.
Those are the locations of all five Long Pillars in Phantom Blade Zero, as well as their unique rewards.
