Interest rising.

We have already known that Phil Spencer, head honcho of Xbox, is planning on attending the Windows 10 reveal event scheduled for some time in January; however, today he teased the event a little, promising that both, PC gamers and Xbox gamers would find news that interest them coming from the event.

“I think what we will show will be interesting to both Windows and XBOX gamers,” he said on Twitter, in response to a fan enquiry.

Personally, this seems to further cement my suspicions about the likelihood of an Xbox app on Windows 10 that basically doubles down as Microsoft’s answer to Remote Play- the ability to play every single Xbox One game on PC via streaming. That would indeed be big news for both, PC and Xbox gamers, as it would add utility to the gaming ecosystems of both platforms.

That’s still just what I think, though. What Microsoft actually reveals is an entirely different matter. We’ll see what they have in mind.
