Phil Spencer Will Present At The Game Awards

Microsoft is about to acquire Geoff Keighley.

We already know that The Game Awards have managed to get some pretty big names for the event this year, including the Russo Brothers (who are the directors of this little film you might have heard of, called Avengers: Infinity War, as well as its upcoming untitled sequel). The event has now added another name to its ever-growing list of personalities.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer will be presenting at the event this year too, The Game Awards’ official Twitter account confirmed today. Spencer will be a “presenter”, as in he will announce the nominees and the winners of one of the categories. It’s unclear if he may also make an Xbox announcement, but it’s a pretty good stage for him to do so, and in the past, his competitors have managed to leverage it pretty well, so I hope he will.

Either way, we will find when The Game Awards ceremony takes place tomorrow.
