Plants vs. Zombies 2: Garden Warfare Debut Trailer is Many Kinds of Bizarre

But hey, Danger Zone, so who cares?

Plants vs. Zombies 2 Garden Warfare

Imagine, if you will, a reveal trailer for PopCap Games’ Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 taking place in a dystopic future where zombies seemingly rule but where armies of plants still oppose the undead. Now factor in cybernetic plant hybrids, zombies with mech suits, super zombies and utter randomness to the tune of Kenny Loggins’ “Danger Zone”. You’re probably better off watching the debut trailer for yourself to be honest.

Though it’s not in-game footage, the trailer for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 does reveal how crazy and erratic things will get, much like the original. At this point, it seems PopCap is trying to mix the many time eras together a la Plants vs. Zombies 2 into one big smorgasbord of insanity. We’re hoping as much anyway. And like the original, it seems Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is out on Xbox One first in Spring 2016.

What are your thoughts on the trailer? Let us know in the comments.
