PopCap Games has revealed its proper gameplay trailer for Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, which releases on October 18th. As we expected, it’s a shooter/tower defense hybrid in line with the Garden Warfare. What we didn’t expect is that an early edition of the game, dubbed the Founder’s Edition, is live now for $30 and will receive content each week up to the official launch.

Founder’s Edition owners will receive exclusive rewards by logging in each week for the first four weeks. The weekly content roadmap can be seen in the image below. If you prefer to play the Standard and Deluxe Editions at launch, they’re available to pre-order starting at 9 AM PT on September 30th.

Origin Access Premier subscribers can also receive access to the Founder’s Edition starting today. At launch, the game will retail at $40 for the Standard Edition on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned for more details and keep checking back each week for new modes, maps and more.
