Sony’s PlayStation 4 will be receiving its firmware update 3.50, code-named “Musashi”, tomorrow. It’s been in testing for quite some time and has quite the feature set.
This includes the ability to appear offline and to receive notifications when your friends are online. It’s also now possible to see what members in a Party are doing what and to join them in the games they’re playing. It’s also possible to broadcast to Dailymotion, tag players when you Share videos and screenshots, etc. Checking the status of PSN services can now be done through Settings > Network.
Also with this update is the ability to use PS4’s Remote Play with PC, which is pretty cool for those who don’t have (or want) a PlayStation Vita. You can check out all the new features below in the accompanying video.
Stay tuned for more information on when exactly the update goes live tomorrow. What are your thoughts on the new features? Let us know in the comments.
