PlayStation 4: New Trailer Showcases How to Use Capture Card With Console

Find out how to capture 1080p footage from the PS4 using your capture card.

While the PlayStation 4 has its own video recording feature, avid videophiles will be able to connect their PC to the console and capture their own footage. Of course, you’ll need a capture card but Sony has released a new video showcasing just how one can go about capturing footage using their capture card with the PS4. Check it out above.

Requirements for the same include a 1080p-compatible capture card along with an HDCP stripper, which was also required on the PlayStation 3. What’s the benefit of using a capture card over the console’s own video recording? You won’t have to worry about time constraints on the clips for one.

The PlayStation 4 will be launching this Friday, November 15th in North America and on November 29th in Europe. The hype is at all time high – will you be picking up a console this Friday? Let us know in the comments below.
