Sony hyped up the future for its CES 2020 presentation, which led to speculation of the PlayStation 5 being present. While we didn’t really see the next-gen console in question, the company did reveal the official logo. Check it out above – it’s fairly in keeping with expectations.

Sony Interactive Entertainment president Jim Ryan also reconfirmed the console’s expected features, including ray tracing, Ultra HD Blu-Ray, and more stuff that’s all already been talked about before. All in all, there wasn’t too much next-gen news to really dig into. However, if rumors are correct, a more in-depth PlayStation Meeting could be slated for next month.

The PlayStation 5 is currently slated to release this Holiday, which is the same period as the Xbox Series X’s launch. Thus far, Counterplay Games’ Godfall has been confirmed as a console exclusive for the PS5, and will also release in the Holiday season. We’re yet to see what the likes of Bluepoint Games are working on (recent teases haven’t exactly narrowed things down), so stay tuned for more details.
