PlayStation Italy Welcomes The Xbox One X While Simultaneously Trolling Their Rivals

In a light-hearted post, PlayStation Italy takes a subtle jab at their rivals while welcoming them.

It is common to see fans tirelessly argue over which is the better console, whether it is the PlayStation or the Xbox. It is nice then to see PlayStation Italy welcoming the Xbox One X even if it is in a cheeky and somewhat competitive vein. PlayStation Italy took to Twitter to welcome the new console. However, they use an image that is associated with the PlayStation controller button to superimpose their brand over the Xbox One X.

In this way, they troll their rivals albeit in a friendly manner. This is also not the first time that PlayStation has poked fun at the competition. These small jabs at the competition are something that Sony and PlayStation Twitter profiles have become reputed for. Anyway, it’s nice to see the company bring in some humor into the context of a rivalry that is taken too seriously by many.
