PlayStation Now Beta Footage Showcases Killzone 3 in Action

Sony's cloud streaming service gets rolling.

Sony’s game streaming service PlayStation Now is currently in beta and promises to bring us PlayStation 3 games on the PS4 via the Cloud. Before it releases in the Summer, Sony has been running a private beta for erstwhile users. One of those users has uploaded footage of Killzone 3 being streamed to the PS4 via PS Now, and you can check it out above.

Keep in mind that because the service is still in beta form, it takes a minute or two before the game actually starts streaming. From there, it looks relatively good but we’ll reserve judgment until the final service hits.

PlayStation Now will be streaming PS3 games for the foreseeable future, with Sony implementing an emulator for the PS4 to run PS1/PS2 games. The eventual plan is to bring PlayStation 4 games to the streaming service and eventually branch out into smartphones, Smart TVs and tablets. Stay tuned for more details.
