Sony’s Cloud-based game streaming service has been in closed beta testing for the PlayStation 3 since January end and now, it will be heading into private beta for the PlayStation 4 starting today.

On the PlayStation Blog, it was announced that, “The Private Beta program has been going great so far, and we want to give thanks to the testers that have participated – your valuable feedback is helping us make the service even better.

“Thus far, Private Beta testers have logged more than 50,000 gameplay hours discovering new games, rediscovering favourites and racking up Trophies!”

If you registered for the private beta, you should be receiving your invites by now. You can register for the same by heading here. It also seems that PS Now on the PS3 may see an expanded beta in the future. Perhaps an open beta is on the card? We’ll find out soon. Currently PS Now is scheduled to release for PS3 and PS4 this Summer.
