PlayStation VR Has +230 Companies Developing Content, Tools

Sony’s PlayStation VR will have a steady stream of content till the end of 2016 with roughly 50 games tracked for release by the company. The publisher also revealed that 230 companies were lined up to create content for the VR headset. An additional range of companies was announced that were working on middleware and tools for the PlayStation VR.

Along with revealing studios working on content, Sony revealed earlier today that PlayStation VR would cost $400 and be available in October 2016. It will be the most cost effective of the VR headsets but requires PlayStation Camera and Move to effectively work. Thankfully Sony announced a bundle with PlayStation VR and the above devices for North America. Pricing and release details will likely be provided later.
