Pokemon GO Battle Leagues Begin Soon; Great League Pre-season Starts Now

If you had any doubts that Pokemon is still a worldwide phenomena, look no further than the mobile sensation Pokemon GO. The game had its biggest year ever in 2019, pulling in nearly $900 million in revenue. It’s still going as strong as ever, and it may very well keep on going for a while, especially if it keeps getting new content. For instance, there’s the upcoming battle leagues, which recently got detailed.

The pre-season for the Great League begins now, so you can get an idea of what it will be like. There will be three different league pre-seasons: the mentioned Great League, Ultra League, and Master League. Their pre-seasons will rotate out every two weeks. During the pre-season you can still play, but your rank and progress will be partially reset when the season officially begins.
