Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX

As reports indicated, Nintendo has announced a Switch version for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team. Originally released as two versions, Rescue Team DX will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on March 6th 2020. There will be a demo out later today on the Nintendo eShop for those who want to try it out.

Not only that but saves from the demo will carry over into the full game. Developed by Spike Chunsoft, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon concerns a person who’s been changed into a Pokemon. They join up with other Pokemon and form teams to explore dungeons to find out their true identity.

Incorporating roguelike elements like randomly generated dungeons, players take on jobs to either deliver items or rescue other Pokemon. Battles are turn-based and the player must keep their Pokemon fed in order to keep going. Overall, the visual revamp looks pretty good and we’re looking forward to other changes that the title might have. Stay tuned for more details.
