Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX (13)

The Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team games will be getting a new lease of life next month when Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX launches. Essentially a remake of Red and Blue Rescue Team, the title sees players turned into a Pokemon and undertaking missions into dangerous dungeons. To provide a better idea of the gameplay, Spike Chunsoft and The Pokemon Company have released some new trailers.

Players start off the game with taking a quiz to determine their starter Pokemon. After that, they can choose a partner and then it’s off to form teams of Pokemon to conduct rescue missions, explore dungeons and encounter other teams. The visuals have seen some significant upgrades since the original Game Boy Advance releases and look great.

The other trailer highlights the story behind the Makuhita Dojo. This is a training facility with different mazes that players will unlock throughout the game. The Dojo has been changed in different ways to make it more challenging so prepare yourself accordingly (especially since only one Pokemon can enter at a time).

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is out on March 6th for Nintendo Switch.
