The Pokemon Company has a new Gigantamax Pokemon coming to Pokemon Sword and Shield. It’s Toxtricity, who will be available as a Max Raid battle from February 7th to March 9th. Check out the reveal trailer below to see it in action.

Along with sporting a new look, Gigantamax Toxtricity also has G-Max Stun Shock. The move will deal damage and either poison or paralyze a target. It can also be a Special or Physical ability depending on its base which is interesting (and a potential challenge to deal with).

Even more is on the way for Pokemon Sword and Shield players. A new Mythical Pokemon will be unveiled on February 27th during Pokemon Day 2020. It will be featured in the next film, Pokemon the Movie: Coco which releases on June 10th so expect to see its film appearance as well. Two expansions are also on the way with The Isle of Armor in June and The Crown Tundra in Fall. You can see them in action here.
